The Morffi signal enhancement technology is patent pending conjugate blocking technology that could provide a two-fold enhancement in the limit of detection in both plasma and urine compared to existing gold conjugation methods; enabling lateral flow immunoassays to compete with traditional lab-based testing platforms.
BBI Solutions will be joined by sister company, BBI Groups mobile arm, Novarum, at MEDICA, where the businesses will jointly host a breakfast seminar to showcase their ground-breaking technology.
Novarums innovative mobile technology allows users to read and share results of lateral flow diagnostic tests using just a smartphone. The companys smartphone readers enable tests to be accurately read from the point of care, at a patients home or in remote and challenging environments, with the results shared securely with healthcare professionals or specific end-users.
BBI Solutions and Novarum will collectively host the technologies for next generation diagnostics breakfast seminar which will take place on Wednesday 15th November at Schnellenburg am Rhein Hotel, Düsseldorf. The free breakfast seminar is not part of the official MEDICA programme, but will complement the conference theme and benefit attendees.
The delegation will also outline plans for BBI Groups brand new global headquarters in Wales, UK which will open in 2018. The group is investing £14 million in the development as part of ambitious plans to create a world-class facility. The new site brings together three of its existing UK manufacturing locations into one.
